Spotlight Sessions: Corporate Archives from FF7 Remake

I thought it might be a fun idea to have a recurring themed post featuring different guitarists performing arrangements you'll find on the site. On the one hand, it's a chance for some of you out there to be in the spotlight and two, it's another way for you all to hear these arrangements performed live! So, that being said, let's kick this off with a wonderfully emotive performance of "Corporate Archives" from FF7 Remake by coobs.

He says:
"Great song to work on dynamics. The original song has lots of variation in tempo and volume. The tab also has some of this written out.

In this recording I decided to, rather than follow one or the other, to just play whatever felt right. Simply copying the piano didn't seem right, as a guitar will differently accentuate emotions with these kinds of dynamics when compared to a piano.

I also tried following what the tab had written but decided against following it exactly. The dynamics are integral to this song's feeling, so that's how I tried to convey it in this recording.

I first played this when looking for an easier tab to record and ended up recording it in the same day. Although it's not as technically demanding as others, it helped me realize how much I neglect working on dynamics."
